Welcome to the Student Piano Club Munich!

Samuel Groß and Ruben Sykora

We are a community of piano-loving students in Munich. Although none of us studies music as a main subject, we are united by the joy of playing the piano.

The Student Piano Club Munich creates a space where piano enthusiasts from all kinds of degree programmes, playing levels and musical tastes can develop together – from the occasional player to prize-winners of Jugend musiziert.

The founding idea

Hannah Trapp

Munich offers plenty of music for students, above all ensembles for orchestral instruments. For pianists, however, there is hardly anything comparable.

And because many students have no piano of their own, and therefore no way to keep developing, the Student Piano Club Munich provides:

  • Access to practice rooms

  • Opportunities to perform

  • Community and exchange

Several people sit in a room, some with their eyes closed, while two pianists play with concentration.

A young woman plays a grand piano in a music room, its lid open so the strings are visible.
